Case summary
Resident of Luhansk region (Ukraine). In the past - military serviceman. From August 2014 to 20 July 2015, he served in the 24th separate assault battalion of the AFU "Aidar" on mobilisation. Supposedly detained in April 2022 in the occupied territory of Luhansk region. Taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist community in connection with service in the "Aidar" battalion. On 5 December 2023, Martynyuk was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime penal colony.
