Case summary
Resident of Makhachkala, capital of Dagestan, south Russia. On 16 September 2023, he was detained and then taken into custody on charges of calling for activities against the security of the state. VGTRK Dagestan reported that Musagadzhiev posted "anti-constitutional calls to change the state system" on the Chat Utro Dagestana telegram channel. He was later transferred to house arrest. Presumably, on 5 July 2024, Musagadzhiev was sentenced to a two and a half year suspended sentence.
