Case summary
On 18 January 2017, Mustafin was detained in Kazan on suspicion of involvement in the "Moscow cell" of Tablighi Jamaat, then transported to Moscow, and arrested on 18 January. On 17 September 2018, sentenced to four years in a general regime colony. He was released in November 2019.
