According to the investigation, from July 2014 to January 2015, on the territory of the Luhansk region, he "participated in the activities of the terrorist community" - the 24th separate assault battalion "Aidar". He facilitated activities aimed at violent change of the constitutional order, the seizure of power in the regions, destabilisation of the situation in the "LNR", and the persecution of the civilian population on political and national grounds as part of punitive operations, while “tacitly approving of and wishing to carry out” the tasks assigned to him. He did not report his participation in the battalion’s activities to Russian law enforcement authorities, which, in the view of the investigation, additionally indicates the presence of criminal intent.

Full summary
A Ukrainian serviceman. He was taken prisoner on 19 January 2023. A criminal case was initiated against him for participation in the activities of a terrorist community in connection with the fact that in 2014–2015 he served in the “Aidar” battalion. He himself stated that he worked as a driver and transported food from headquarters to the battalion’s location, and sometimes took part in patrols, but not in combat operations. On 3 September 2024, Nechyporenko was sentenced to five and a half years in a general-regime penal colony.
