Case summary

Ship repairman. After the action on 23 January 2021 in support of Navalny, he was put on a wanted list. On 26 January 2021, Olekhnovich appeared before the Investigative Committee and made a signed apology to a police officer unknown to him, whom he, Olekhnovich, as he himself claims, used violence against at the 23 January rally in support of Alexei Navalny. The lawyer says that Olekhnovich intervened when police officers started dragging another protester on the ground. Olekhnovich was questioned as a witness and released, but the next day he was detained and charged. On 28 January the court sent him to custody.

On 23 April he was sentenced to two years of probation.
