According to the investigation, wishing to join the recognized terrorist Legion of Freedom of Russia, from October 2023 to March 2024, in Telegram he maintained cooperation with representatives of the organisation, "over the course of which he agreed to assist in planning terrorist acts in military and civilian infrastructure facilities in Russia". He collected and passed on information about its security and the security regime of the military commissariat of Dalnegorsk and the Terneisky district of Primorsky Krai, as well as the intended escape routes after committing arson.

Full summary
A resident of Primorsky Krai. On 12 March 2024, he was detained and then taken into custody. A case was initiated against him on confidential cooperation with foreigners and preparation for participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation. According to the version of the investigation, he intended to join the ranks of the Freedom of Russia Legion and passed to the alleged representatives of the unit information about the work of the military recruitment centre and the possibility of its arson. On 16 January 2025, Osinovsky was sentenced to seven years in a strict regime colony.
