Case summary
Resident of Veliky Novgorod, born in Lviv (Ukraine). He was prosecuted for repeated demonstration of banned symbols: according to the investigation, he published on VKontakte the symbols of a certain "Ukrainian paramilitary association" – this pertained to photographs from events abroad depicting individuals with white-blue-white flags. On 1 August 2025, Pavlov was sentenced to 100 hours of compulsory labour. On 16 October 2025, the court of appeal released him from the punishment due to the time spent in a psychoneurological dispensary as part of an expert examination.
