Case summary
Resident of Saratov. On 10 September 2024, he was detained in a criminal case of libel. The reason was publications about employees of the local tax inspection published in the Saratov Reporter. According to journalist Anna Mukhina, Pshenichny's wife, in 2005, at the request of his friend and journalist Sergei Mikhailov, Pschenichny created the media's website and registered the domain in his name, but he was not involved in producing content and "has had nothing to do with it for years". The next day, the court elected a preventive measure against Pshenichny in the form of a ban on certain actions. Anna Mukhina was included in the registry of "foreign agents" in 2023.
