According to the investigation, he contacted Valentin Nizkovolosov, a representative of the Ukrainian volunteer center “Grokhot,” which “provides financial and logistical support to Ukrainian paramilitary units” via Telegram and agreed with him to supply anti-aircraft searchlights for the needs of these units. Later, through Nizkovolosov, he offered the Azov battalion an anti-aircraft searchlight of his own design to detect Russian drones over Kyiv, sent the searchlight from Kursk to Kyiv via Lithuania, provided technical documentation and advised on its assembly. He purchased components in China with his own funds to build the searchlights.

Full summary
A resident of Kursk and a native of Ukraine’s Chernihiv Region. On 20 August 2024, he was detained and subsequently sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest (the details of the charge are unknown). After the administrative arrest term expired, he was not released but instead taken into custody in a criminal case on charges of aiding terrorist activity. According to the investigation, he allegedly transferred an anti-aircraft searchlight to the Azov Battalion. He was later additionally charged with high treason. During the trial, Revin stated that he had given his confession “with a gun to his head.” On 5 December 2025, he was sentenced to 24 years in a high-security penal colony.
