Case summary
Lived in Moscow, worked as a presenter at Ekho Moskvy radio station until its closure in 2022. Co-host on Deutsche Welle's YouTube channel in Russian, co-host of regular streams on Mediazona. In October 2022, she was included in the register of "foreign agents". In September 2024, it became known that Felgengauer was prosecuted for evading her duties as a foreign agent. In May 2025, it was reported that she was also prosecuted for incitement to terrorism because of her broadcast about the blowing up of Igor Kirillov, the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defence Troops, near an apartment block on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow: Felgengauer admitted that after learning about the assassination attempt, she said to herself: "This is cool".
