Case summary

A resident of Tambov. In June 2022, he met Artem Skakalin, a janitor who sold books, through the Avito website. They later began communicating on Telegram, and Skakalin told Shvetsov that he opposed war with Ukraine, was on the border with Ukraine and planned to join the Russian Freedom Legion,and had purchased two knives "with the aim of attacking a Russian patrol." After Skakalin was detained at the border, a case of under-reporting was brought against Shvetsov. On 19 December 2022, Shvetsov was sentenced to a fine of 30,000 rubles.
