Case summary

A resident of the Moscow region. He was detained on 23 November 2023, after which he was taken into custody on charges of attempted terrorism for attempting to set fire to a military recruitment office in Volokolamsk. The publication 360.ru claimed that after the failed arson attack he "ran away into the forest and got lost, and when he came to the motorway, he caught a hitchhiker - a car of police officers". On 29 October 2024, Vasyuk was sentenced to nine years in a strict regime colony.
