Case summary
In early June 2017, detained and arrested on charges of organising activities of a terrorist organisation on charges of involvement in the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which was recognised as a terrorist organisation - according to some experts, without grounds. On 30 January 2019, sentenced to seven years in a strict regime colony. Presumably released in June 2024.
