Case summary
Zyazikov was detained on 18 July 2019 on suspicion of attacking law enforcers during a people's gathering in Magas on 26 March. The next day, the court ordered to take Zyazikov into custody. He was accused of using violence against a representative of the authorities, dangerous to life and health. In October, the charge was reclassified to non-dangerous violence.
On 17 January 2020, he was sentenced to a year and a month of imprisonment in an open prison. On 7 February he was released.
