Case summary

An activist with Crimean Solidarity. On 27 March 2019, he was detained following a search and the next day taken into custody on charges of participating in the activities of a terrorist organisation. Sent to a pre-trial detention centre in Rostov region, later transferred back to Crimea. In March 2020, it became known that Adilov was also being charged with preparing to overthrow the constitutional order. On 12 May 2022, he was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony.

In October 2023, it became known that Adilov was transferred to strict detention conditions.
