Case summary

Dmitry Altaychinov was detained on 6 May 2012, along with hundreds of other participants in the event on Bolotnaya Square. Only in December 2013, information emerged that he was facing criminal charges for the events on Bolotnaya Square on 6 May 2012. Altaychinov was accused of participating in mass riots, pleaded guilty, and entered into an agreement with the investigators. On 16 January 2014, he was granted amnesty.
