Case summary

Resident of Khaibullinsky district of Bashkortostan. Detained on 5 February 2024 at his sister's house. According to his son, the law enforcers searched for Davletberdin for two days before that, visiting his relatives and acquaintances and conducting searches. On 6 February, he was taken into custody as part of a mass riots case brought in connection with a public gathering in Baymak on 17 January in support of activist Fail Alsynov, who was sentenced to four years in prison. Davletberdin's son sent a certificate of tuberculosis disease to the appointed lawyer. For the last two years Davletberdin has been treated for the disease, now he needs to undergo X-rays and prophylaxis every six months.

On 21 October 2025, the court sentenced him to three years and seven months in a general regime penal colony.
