Case summary

According to unconfirmed reports, he was the first participant in the people's gathering in Vladikavkaz on 20 April 2020, who was taken into custody. Dzhioev was initially charged with hooliganism coupled with resistance to a representative of the authorities, but was later charged with participation in mass riots. He was sentenced to three and a half years. Presumably, he was released in December 2022.
