Case summary

Eco-activist, populariser of separate waste collection and "zero waste" policy. She is a supporter of the movement "Against the Incineration Plant in Kazan". She was detained on 25 March, on which day the Kazan activists were searched in the case of involvement in mass riots. Ionova was taken off the train, her apartment was searched, after that it became known that she was a suspect in the case. She spent two days in a temporary detention centre, after which she was released under an obligation to appear.
