Opposition activist, human rights defender, politician. He was accused of participating in mass riots at the agreed rally on 6 May 2012 on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow. He was in pre-trial detention from July 2012 to August 2013, then transferred to house arrest. Amnestied in December 2013.
