Full wording of the charges
According to the prosecutor's office, in April 2024 Kromsky and Vernyaev, motivated by personal interest, entered into a criminal conspiracy aimed at a repeated public dissemination of knowingly false information defaming the honour, dignity, and undermining the reputation of a deputy of the Voronezh Regional Duma to force the latter to resign. For this purpose, they produced and subsequently distributed leaflets of a defamatory and insulting nature in the city of Borisoglebsk, as well as repeatedly published a number of articles of similar content on the Internet.

Full summary
Resident of Borisoglebsk (Voronezh region). Together with activists of the "Borisoglebsk Anti-Corruption Committee" wrote complaints against Dmitry Shiryaev, a deputy of the Regional Duma. In their opinion, the unanimous activist did not fulfil his duties to his constituents. The activists also demanded to check the deputy's oil factory, which, according to them, discharges waste into the Khoper River.
In 2024, a case was brought against him because of leaflets slandering Shiryaev.
On 21 October 2025, the court sentenced him to a fine of 200 thousand rubles. On 26 February 2026, the court of appeal reduced the amount by 10 thousand rubles.
