Case summary

A resident of Crimea. In July 2018, two explosive devices disguised as a thermos and a bottle were discovered and seized from Kruglov's home. A criminal case was opened against him for the possession of weapons and explosives. He was also charged with inciting extremism due to calls for violence against members of a specific religious group.

In June 2019, Kruglov was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison and fined 60,000 rubles. He was presumably released on parole.

On November 16, 2022, Kruglov was detained at a bus station in Simferopol. He was taken into custody as part of a case involving preparation for high treason and participation in a terrorist organization.

On October 4, 2023, Kruglov was sentenced to eight years in a high-security penal colony.
