Full wording of the charges
The reason for the initiation of a case of public justification of terrorism was a text saying, “Kill Putin’s faggots, no camp, no psych ward. In this country of lawlessness… by military and civilians, because they are accomplices and criminals!!!” on Odnoklassniki. The case could also be based on aggressive statements calling on the Russian military instead of Ukraine to “go to the Kremlin, to liberate YOUR LAND from the Jewish hordes that have taken over our Country!!!”. The reason for the first case of spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces was an anti-war post on Odnoklassniki that he published in March 2022. In total, the case includes eight counts of calls for terrorism and four counts of “fakes” about the Armed Forces, in particular, about the seizure of Ukrainian territories by the Russian army and the killing of civilians in Bucha. In addition, according to the investigation, Lanchekov wrote comments in support of the Freedom of Russia Legion and “called to ignore traditional Christian values”. The FSB reported that during searches at his home they found 126 bullets.

Full summary
He is a resident of the settlement of Vanino (Khabarovsk Krai) and a supporter of the Citizens of the USSR. In 2012, he was suspended from military service – according to his own statements, for complaints about corruption and schemes orchestrated by the officers. After that, Lanchekov appealed to the Ministry of Defence with complaints and went on solitary pickets. Among other things, he demanded the resignation of Sergei Surovikin, who until 2017 held the post of the commander of the Eastern Military District. Because of his activism, Lanchekov was sent to a psychiatric hospital. No later than December 2022, a criminal case was initiated against him for public justification of terrorism. Lanchekov was taken into custody. A case was also initiated against him for disseminating deliberately false information about the Armed Forces, insulting the feelings of religious believers and possession of weapons. Lanchekov claims that the cartridges were planted on him. According to him, on 1 March 2023, while being escorted in a police van, he was subjected to violence and lost consciousness. On 14 June 2024, Lanchekov was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment.
