Case summary

A resident of Krasnodar region. On December 2, 2023, he was arrested at a bus station. The following day, he was detained under an administrative charge of disobeying lawful orders of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). After serving his sentence, on December 16, he was detained again under an administrative charge of petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On December 27, 2023, Lisovskii was taken into custody on charges of preparing to commit treason and participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to investigators, he intended to join the “Freedom of Russia” Legion. The court considered the following as evidence: a purchased ticket, Telegram correspondence with an unknown person claiming to be a representative of the Legion, and testimonies from fellow servicemen stating that Lisovskii spoke out against the war and said he would soon be starting a new job. On May 20, 2024, he was sentenced to 7 years in a strict-regime penal colony.
