According to the investigation, from the 2nd to the 16th of November, 2023, in the village of Yuzhny, Dinsky district, Krasnodar region, Lisovskii, being dissatisfied with the decision of the President of the Russian Federation to conduct a special military operation in order to participate in hostilities against the Russian Federation on the side of Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian paramilitary association "Legion of Freedom of Russia" (hereinafter - "LSR"), recognised as a terrorist organisation by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation of 16 March 2023, No. ACPI23-101C, using a mobile phone and an instant messaging application, purchased a ticket for a bus on the route "Krasnodar-Donetsk" on the Internet on 16 November 2023. On 16 November 2023, in the village of Yuzhny, Dinsky district, Krasnodar region, acting with the same purpose, he purchased a ticket on the Internet for a bus on the Krasnodar-Donetsk route for 20:10 on 2 December 2023, but upon arrival at the Krasnodar-1 bus station on that date, his unlawful actions were stopped by officers of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (hereinafter, the FSB of Russia), and therefore his crimes were not completed due to circumstances beyond his control.

Full summary
A resident of Krasnodar region. On December 2, 2023, he was arrested at a bus station. The following day, he was detained under an administrative charge of disobeying lawful orders of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). After serving his sentence, on December 16, he was detained again under an administrative charge of petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On December 27, 2023, Lisovskii was taken into custody on charges of preparing to commit treason and participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to investigators, he intended to join the “Freedom of Russia” Legion. The court considered the following as evidence: a purchased ticket, Telegram correspondence with an unknown person claiming to be a representative of the Legion, and testimonies from fellow servicemen stating that Lisovskii spoke out against the war and said he would soon be starting a new job. On May 20, 2024, he was sentenced to 7 years in a strict-regime penal colony.
