Case summary
A resident of the Penza region. On June 17, 2020, his home was searched as part of a case involving participation in an extremist organization related to his involvement with the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. He was sentenced on October 10, 2022, but an appellate court overturned the sentence on December 21. On July 25, 2024, the trial court sentenced Maturin to three and a half years' probation.
