Case summary

Was detained on 22 April 2015 as part of the case of clashes in Simferopol on 26 February 2014, accused of participation in mass riots. He spent about 2 months in pre-trial detention, released on the surety of the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev. He pleaded guilty and concluded an agreement with the investigation. On 9 October he was detained again, on 12 October he was sentenced to two and a half years of suspended imprisonment
