Case summary
Resident of Irkutsk. Positioned himself as an astrologer, psychic and black sorcerer. In the summer of 2025, he was sentenced to 100 hours of compulsory labour in a case of insulting the feelings of believers. The reason for the prosecution was his Instagram post with insulting statements, in which he, according to the prosecution, expressed clear disrespect for Orthodox Christianity and people of this religion.
The expert stated in his report that the post negatively assessed representatives of the Christian religion (Orthodox priests, believers) and the objects of their religious worship (God, temple, church, angels). The rectors of two churches in Irkutsk acted as witnesses for the prosecution in court, saying that the man's publication was offensive, as it touched upon the figure of the Saviour, Jesus Christ, which is significant for Christian believers.
