According to the investigation, she joined the 24th separate assault battalion 'Aidar', where, among other things, she conducted surveillance of servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), transmitted information to her higher-ups, and also participated in combat operations in the Telmanovsky district of the DPR and the settlement of Krymskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic, used assault rifles and anti-tank grenade launchers, and carried out actions in the Ukrainian-occupied territories of the Republic aimed at forcibly seizing power and changing the constitutional order of the DPR.

Full summary
Served in the Ukrainian 'Aidar' battalion, medic. Captured in the spring of 2022, she was in the occupied territory of the Donetsk region of Ukraine. Was charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. After the Russian Federation declared the DPR part of its territory, the charges were reclassified under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: Prutian was accused of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation and violent seizure of power.
On September 12, 2024, the court decided to separate the case of Prutyan and another woman accused in the same case, Marina Mishchenko, into a separate proceeding, as they were also charged with the use of prohibited methods of warfare.
The next day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Prutian and Mishchenko had been returned to Ukraine as part of the exchange.
