Resolution on bringing Nikolai Bachin as an accused states that he "voluntarily joined the activities of the 'ATVKh' (at-Takfir wa-l-Higra), took an active part in meetings of this organization where he discussed activities of this religious association and also engaged in interpreting religious literature on the ideology of the 'ATVKh.'" We (noted by Memorial) do not have the resolutions on bringing the other defendants in the case of the 'ATVKh' as accused. Still, Memorial assumes that they say the same thing.

Full summary
On 25 May 2021, he was identified as a suspect in a criminal case on charges of participation in the ATWH. Abdurakhmanov claims that he and his companions "Ishmetov Ruslan, Sabirov Rif, Nikolai Bachin, Gaianov Rizvan were forced by threats and blackmail to confess that we were members of the organisation At-Takfir Val-Hijra and initiated criminal proceedings against us". On 23 September 2022 he was sentenced under part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organisation, up to 6 years' imprisonment), the punishment is unknown. He was under a recognisance not to leave. On 9 December 2025, Sabirov was removed from the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring.
