Case summary
A resident of Moscow, a paralegal. On 30 August 2023, a residential inspection was carried out in his flat, after which Troitskii and his father were detained for 14 days under an administrative article on disobedience to representatives of authority (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). According to the Telegram channel "Ostorozhno Novosti", after this incident, Troitskii set an anti-war image as his profile picture on social media.

On 27 May, Troitskii was arrested for 10 days under the administrative article on disorderly conduct (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences). When that term expired, on 5 June, he was detained again under the same article and sentenced to 15 days, and then again on 21 June, for another 15 days, once more under the same article. In all the three cases, the charges alleged that Troitskii had been loudly swearing in the street.
On 5 July, after the last term of arrest had expired, Troitskii was detained again, this time in a criminal case concerning participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation. Later, it became known that he had also been charged with preparation for participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation and with high treason.
