Full summary
A resident of Bashkortostan. On the evening of 24 January 2024, he was stopped by traffic police officers on his way from Sibai to Baymak and taken to the police station. The next day, the court in Baymak arrested him for 8 days under the article on participation in an uncoordinated action that interfered with infrastructure and transport (part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences). The reason was participation in a public gathering in Baymak on 17 January in support of activist Fail Alsynov, who was sentenced to four years in prison. On 26 January, Akhmedin was taken into custody under a criminal case on participation in mass riots, initiated in connection with the gathering. In September 2024, it became known that the charge was reclassified to organising mass riots.
