Case summary
Assistant to Novosibirsk City Council deputy Helga Pirogova. On March 6, Arzhanov and his parents' residences were searched, law enforcers broke down the door of his parents' flat. According to the ruling, the case was opened on the fact of embezzlement of 22,362 rubles 5 kopecks from the city council "by deceit and breach of trust". Arzhanov stated that he was essentially accused of stealing his own salary. In 2023, it became known that Arzhanov was a suspect in the case of the Vesna movement, charged with organising the activities of an extremist community.
