The reason for the case was the posts in the social networks of "Vyesna" in 2022. Was charged with "fakes" about the army due to the publication of reports on the number of dead Russian soldiers, as well as on the events in Bucha and other settlements of the Kyiv region. Was charged with calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation was in connection with Vyesna's call for soldiers to either refuse to participate in hostilities or surrender, which was circulated in September 2022; the movement disavowed this call in November of the same year. Was charged with dissemination of disrespectful information about the Days of Military Glory due to the posts on Telegram and VKontakte that criticised state-sponsored ways of celebrating Victory Day.

Full summary
St. Petersburg resident and an activist. In 2023, it became known that Dyakonov was a suspect in a criminal case initiated in connection with the activities of "Vyesna": he was charged with organising the activities of an extremist community, spreading "fakes" about the Armed Forces, calling for activities that threaten the security of the Russian Federation and spreading disrespectful information about the days of military glory. On 29 July 2024 he was arrested in absentia.
