Case summary
Federal coordinator of the Vesna movement. On 7 May, his parents' flat in St. Petersburg was searched, Litvin himself is outside Russia. According to the investigation, Litvin is the creator and seven other people - participants of the non-profit organization, which "encouraged citizens to commit other illegal acts" and promoted "such acts", namely, urged people to take part in anti-war actions on 25, 26, and 27 February. Litvin was put on a wanted list. On 6 October, the Justice Ministry included Litvin in the register of individuals - "foreign agents".
In 2023, it became known that Litvin was a suspect in the second criminal case, also initiated in connection with the activities of Vesna: he was charged with organising the activities of an extremist community, spreading "fakes" about the Armed Forces, calling for activities threatening the security of the Russian Federation and spreading disrespectful information about the days of military glory.
In August 2025, Fontanka reported that Litvin was also prosecuted for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation because of his posts in the Vesna Telegram channel published between July 2023 and November 2024.
