Case summary
She is a journalist of the MR7 news outlet and a former Avtozak LIVE correspondent. She is outside Russia. In 2021, she ran for the office of a municipal deputy in the Avtovo district of Saint Petersburg. On 6 March 2022, her relatives’ apartment was searched in a case of a deliberately false bomb threat. An inscription “Traitor” appeared on the door to her apartment.
In 2022, Goncharova became a suspect in a case of involvement in the activities of an organisation that infringes on the personality and rights of citizens, and in 2023 she became a suspect in a case that included involvement in the activities of an extremist community, spreading “fakes” about the Armed Forces, calling for activities that pose a threat to the security of the Russian Federation and spreading disrespectful information about the days of military glory.
