Case summary
On 18 April 2016, detained after a search, interrogated by the FSB and the next day sent under arrest on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation ("Hizb ut-Tahrir"). On 12 November 2019, he was sentenced to seven years in a strict regime colony. He was released on 17 April 2023.
On 26 September 2023, Dzhepparov was detained, but was released at night after a questioning at the Centre for Countering Extremism.
