Case summary

A resident of Bashkortostan. On 23 January 2024, he was taken into custody on charges of participation in mass riots in connection with the people’s gathering on 17 January in Baimak on the day of sentencing of activist Fail Alsynov. Before that, Gibadullin was sentenced under an administrative article on disobedience to the lawful demands of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). Later, he was also accused of using violence against representatives of the authorities. On 5 May 2025, he was sentenced to five years in a general regime penal colony.
