Case summary
Resident of Baymak region of Bashkortostan. On 23 January 2024 he was detained after a search in the case of mass riots in connection with the mass gathering on 17 January in Baymak on the day of sentencing of activist Fail Alsynov. Ishkuvatov was taken into custody the next day. His wife is on maternity leave. Ishkuvatov was also accused of using violence against representatives of the authorities. On 5 December 2024, he was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime penal colony.
