Case summary

A resident of the Sverdlovsk region. She was accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation: the investigation believed that he was involved in the Citizens of USSR movement. Representatives of this movement deny the collapse of the USSR; how structured this movement is and how serious a danger it poses to Russian society is not clear. Larionova was on a recognisance not to leave the country. On 14 August 2024, she was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony. Presumably, she was released in March 2026.
