Case summary
Resident of Tyumen. In November 2019, Osmonkulov's home was searched, he was interrogated and detained as part of a case on the activities of a terrorist organisation in connection with his alleged involvement in the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which has nothing to do with terrorism. On 21 November, the court decided to send him to custody. On 4 August 2022, he was sentenced to 11 years in a strict regime colony.
