Case summary
Tyumen resident. 18 November 2019, he was detained after a search. On 21 November, the court placed him in custody on charges of participating in the activities of a terrorist organisation due to alleged involvement in the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which has no connection to terrorism. On 4 August 2022, he was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony.
