Case summary

Resident of Bashkortostan. Taken into custody on charges of participation and organisation of mass riots and use of violence against a representative of the authorities in connection with a mass gathering in Baymak on 17 January 2024 in support of activist Fail Alsynov, sentenced to four years in prison. On 26 February 2025, Ryskulov was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony. In June, this term was reduced by three months on appeal.
