Case summary

In December 2016, he was taken into custody together with 11 other people on suspicion of involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir. On 15 February 2019, he was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime penal colony.

On 28 April 2006, he was sentenced to one year of imprisonment in an open prison on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation, also in connection with alleged involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir.
