Case summary
Resident of Ufa. In February 2017, detained and then arrested in a case of involvement in a terrorist organisation in connection with alleged involvement in the activities of the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir. He gave a confession and has also agreed to testify against the other defendants. On 21 February 2019, he was sentenced to 11 years in a strict regime penal colony.
