Case summary

On August 15, 2011, the St. Petersburg Department of the Investigative Committee charged Alexei Marochkin in a case filed in October 2010 against members of the Other Russia party, who are accused of running an NBP (National Bolshevik Party) cell in St. Petersburg. At the trial he claimed that he had nothing to do with the activities of the NBP, but only sometimes participated in events of the Other Russia, where NBP symbols were not present. On December 28, 2012, he was sentenced to a fine of 150 thousand rubles, which he was released from due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
