Case summary

On April 11, 2011, he became a suspect in the case of the St. Petersburg political party "The Other Russia"; on April 15, the Investigative Committee charged him under Article 282.2 Part 2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organisation); during the testimony at the trial he stated that after the ban of the NBP (National Bolshevik Party) in 2007 he did not continue its activities, but engaged in politics within the "The Other Russia" organisation ; on December 28, 2012, he was sentenced to a fine of 150 000 roubles, but was exempted from punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
