Case summary
On May 21, 2018, he was detained and subsequently arrested on charges of involvement with "Hizb ut-Tahrir." In January 2019, he was placed in a special unit in a pre-trial detention center. In February, he was also accused of preparing for a violent seizure of power.
On September 16, 2020, he was sentenced to 14 years in a high-security penal colony.
