Full wording of the charges
According to the investigation, he participated in a terrorist community created by the SSU officers, and from March to August 2022, he carried out surveillance of places of visit and routes of employees of the Kherson region MCA and Russian military personnel "for the further commission of acts of international terrorism". Together with another person prosecuted in the case, Sergey Kabakov, they planned to liquidate Aleksey Kovalyov, an employee of the Kherson Region MCA, "no later than May 2022", for which purpose they tracked his routes and were going to install a booby-trapped Chevrolet Lacetti car near the hairdresser's shop he visited. An anti-personnel fragmentation mine MON-50 with a 698.3g charge of industrially manufactured military explosive PVV-5A was placed in the underbelly of the car. However, they were unable to carry out the explosion "due to lack of sufficient time" to move the vehicle from the car park to the intended location of the explosion. On 2 August 2022 (already after the actual detention), in the area of Karantinniy Island, on the assignment of an SSU officer, he was supposed to detonate an explosive device in Kovalyov's jet ski, but was detained at the place where he was waiting for it to pass. Then he agreed to participate in the operational experiment, together with Kabakov, on the instructions of the SSU officer, equipped a cache for an IED on Starokolodeznaya Street and placed a mock-up of the explosive device that Sergey Kovalskiy was to pick up.

In his own words, at this point he was so weak he could not lift his head himself, it was turned by a special forces fighter. The consent to participate in the experiment, according to Reznik, they signed later. In October 2022, he was taken to Simferopol, where he was officially taken into custody on charges of involvement in the preparation of assassination attempts on employees of the civil-military administration, after which he was again beaten.
