Case summary

Detained in Moscow in September 2021 and charged with being involved in organising mass riots in connection with correspondence in the Chto-Delat! Telegram channel, which included discussions of potential protests during the Duma elections. Later it became known that Kreshchuk was also charged with incitement to hatred. On 5 April 2024 he was sentenced to six years in a general regime colony. In February 2026 Nikita was allegedly released from prison.
