Задержана в сентябре 2021 года в Москве и отправлена под домашний арест по обвинению в вовлечении в организацию массовых беспорядков в связи с перепиской в телеграм-чатах сетки "Что-Делать!", где обсуждались возможные протестные действия во время выборов в Думу. Позже стало известно, что Платонову обвинили также в возбуждении ненависти. 5 апреля 2024 года ее приговорили к пяти годам и двум месяцам колонии общего режима с отсрочкой на период беременности и до достижения ребенком 14-летнего возраста. Издание Sota Vision отмечает, что следствие могло сфальсифицировать доказательства ее причастности к делу: в частности, аккаунт, с которого она, по версии следствия, писала в чатах, был зарегистрирован на номер, который сначала принадлежал ей, но затем она перестала им пользоваться, при этом текущий владелец номера в Челябинске, в то время как Платонова находилась в Москве.
